| 1. Make files invisible |
 |
Using folder-lock function is simple. Click on the checkbox next to folders - and they will disappear. When you¡¯d like to open the hidden folders, you don¡¯t need to unlock the hidden folders; just open the files or run the program from Point Lock PRO. |

How to use:
(1) Start Point Lock PRO.
(2) Log in.
(3) Check to see if the PC Lock button is activated (If PC Lock button is not activated, click once to activate).
(4) Click once on checkbox next to selected folders (red check will be marked).
(5) Click Apply button to lock your folder. |

Tip
(1) Point Lock PRO is similar to Windows Explorer. You can view everything in the folders and open the files or run the programs directly from Point Lock PRO.
(2) You can't lock driver that has Windows folder because Point Lock Pro is running under Windows system.
(3) You can instantly lock folders by using Apply button or by closing the program. Way to use functions is identical to Internet Explorer. |

| 2. Make files read-only |
 |
You can make folders and files invisible so unauthorized users cannot delete, modify or run them. If you want to run the program in the hidden folder, you can use the short cut icon or type in the exact file path in the Search or Find in Windows. |

How to use:
(1) Start Point Lock PRO.
(2) Log in.
(3) Check to see if the PC Lock button is activated (If PC Lock button is not activated, click once to activate).
(4) Just click twice on checkbox next to selected folders (Blue check will be marked).
(5) Click Apply button to lock your folder. |

Tip
(1) You can instantly lock folders by using Apply button or by closing the program.
(2) If you click once more on the blue checked box, it initializes folder lock on the selected folders. |

| 3. Lock CD-ROM, floppy drive, and other devices |
 |
Point Lock PRO also enables you to lock devices so that others cannot copy data using CD Drive and the like or install any malicious software in your computer. You can choose to disable FDD, CD-ROM, CD-RW or any removable storage devices. |

How to use:
(1) Start Point Lock PRO.
(2) Log in.
(3) Check to see if the PC Lock button is activated (If PC Lock button is not activated, click once to activate).
(4) Click once on the check box next to the devices (Red check will be marked).
(5) Click Apply button to lock your folder. |

Tip
You can instantly lock folders by using Apply button or by closing the program. |

| 4. Lock network |
 |
Network Lock function allows you to block out the Internet & the Network connection while you are working on sensitive materials using Point Lock PRO. It can protect your computer from unauthorized access or data leaks from push viruses or Trojans. This function will conveniently and fully protect your data from any potential threats on either the Network or the Internet. |

How to use:
(1) Start Point Lock PRO.
(2) Click OK to Login.
(3) Click on a Network Lock button or select Network Lock in Status menu.
(4) Confirmation window will appear shortly. Click ¡°OK¡± to enable Network Lock.
(5) Network Lock function will protect your data by locking the Internet & the Network connection while you are working with Point Lock PRO. |

Tip
(1) When Network Lock function is enabled, it will only block Internet & Network while you are using Point Lock PRO.
(2) To disable Network Lock function, click once more onNetwork Lock icon or select Network Lock in Status menu. |

| 5. View list of hidden folders |
 |
Just in case you forget which folders you have selected to hide, you can use this function to manage your hidden folders. Hidden Folder List shows the complete list of hidden folders, read only folders and hidden devices. |

| 6. ¡°Option¡± menu |
 |
Option in Point Lock PRO provides you two useful safety features that allows you to conveniently hide the recent activities on your system. You can choose to enable the deletion of the list of recently used documents in the Recent Documents and the browsing History in the Internet Explorer upon exiting Point Lock Pro. This feature will deter someone from retracing your activities to gain information. |

How to use:
(1) Start Point Lock PRO.
(2) Log in.
(3) Click on option menu button or select option from Tools menu in toolbar.
(4) Click on appropriate checkbox to clear recently used documents and browsed sites.
(5) Click OK. |

Tip
By clicking on the check box, selected items will clear automatically when you click Apply button or close the program. |
|
| 7. Functions identical to Internet Explorer |
 |
Within Point Lock PRO's Window, you can partially experience features in Windows Explorer. |

How to use:
By click on the right button on the mouse, you can use copy & paste, view, arrange icons, property functions of Windows Explorer. So it will be convenient to use Point Lock Pro as the main tool for accessing all your data and running all your programs and know with certainty that you are safe from any potential threats on the Network or the Internet. |
